- Responsible for kitchen personnel.
- Ensure quality, presentation and portions of all food production.
- Follow standard recipes and standard operating procedures as directed.
- In charge of sanitation and safety of all kitchen equipment following the HACCP and ServSafe principles.
- Complete paperwork and maintain work practice in accordance with HR and Departmental policies and procedures.
- Responsible for cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Delegate Duties to Line cooks as necessary.
- Assist Executive and Assistant Executive Chefs with all duties and needed.
- Participate and support all guest service Training Programs which is designed to produce advocates for Table Mountain Casino. Supervisors are responsible for encouraging staff to become fully involved in this guest service program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Three plus years experience in a kitchen supervisory/management capacity and strong culinary arts background.
- Excellent interpersonal, guest service, leadership, communication (verbal & written), analytical, decision-making, inventory control, computer literate and problem-solving skills are required.
- ServSafe certification & HACCP knowledge is required.
- High School Diploma required.
- A college degree in business or related field is required, unless otherwise waived by Executive Management of the Casino as based on determined experience and accomplishments.
